This breakfast comparison is hard for me to write, because I really love Chick-fil-A.
But...sometimes after I eat it, I feel a bit bloated and sluggish.
Not the feeling I'm going for when I 'm trying to knock out the day's lengthy TO DO list.
Here's how this usually goes...you're in a hurry in the morning (i.e. every morning!) and you search for a quick, healthy breakfast before your first meeting.
In a weak moment, you pull into the drive through, thinking "I'll get a chicken biscuit ...that has protein right?"
Yes, it has protein, but that biscuit also has over 1,500 mg of sodium.
That's not a typo...it's 65% of your total recommended sodium intake in just one little sandwich.
If you're like me and trying to keep your blood pressure in check, this is not helping! Check out the stats in the comparison above. There's a better way to go. (SPOILER ALERT: it has just 50mg of sodium, and even more healthy protein and fiber!)
This is why I created Todd's Power Oats. I wanted one less decision to make in the morning.
With just 60 seconds of prep before you go to bed, you can have a delicious and nutritious breakfast ready to go.
Just pull your cold-brewed oats out of the fridge and enjoy. It's faster than making a bagel, and the 30 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber in every mighty bowl of Todd's Power Oats will give you steady energy all morning long, with no guilt. And with just 50 mg of sodium, your cardiologist will thank you too!
Be good to your self!
